Bonnar live tweets through car stop
Stephan Bonnar pretended to be live tweeting through a near arrest for drunk driving. It began at 7:15 am local time (PT). He begins “9 months sober ..till tonight.”
Renzo Gracie set the bar for live tweeting, when he tweeted through an attempted mugging (it left at least one attacker with raccoon eyes). On Sunday morning Stephan Bonnar appeared to be live tweeting through a near arrest for drunk driving. It began at 7:15 am local time (PT).

Bonnar has an unusual sense of humor, but the next exchange with an acerbic fan does not indicate Bonnar is trying to be funny.

Bonnar later admitted that the tweets were what he termed an April Fool’s Joke. He added that the tweets were based on something that happened in college.
There are believed to have been eight deaths worldwide in mixed martial arts. Each one is a tragedy. By contrast, drunk driving kills 10,000 people each year, in the USA alone. It is not a fit subject to prank fans over.
