Bollinger says WSoF promised him a 4th fight in 2014, Sefo denies it
WSoF’s Cody Bollinger says he was offered another fight this year if she stepped up on short notice to fight champ Marlon Moraes, but boss Ray Sefo firmly denies it.

Cody Bollinger declined to make weight for a fight with Anthony Gutierrez on episode nine of The Ultimate Fighter 20, and was removed from the series. Then he was picked up by World Series of Fighting for a reported “six figure” contract.
He fought in January of this year, and again in July. Then on short notice he fought a third time, against Marlon Moraes for the league’s bantamweight title.
According to his tweets, WSoF president Ray Sefo promised him another fight this year, but Sefo denies that firmly.

Wsof needs one more main card fight in December… Put me on please like you promised sir! @SugarRaySefo @MMAWorldSeries
Ray Sefo @SugarRaySefo
Cody I never promised you a fight in December what I promised you was that you won’t lose your placing in the division.
Cody Bollinger @CodyBollinger
and that I wouldn’t be sidelined until next year…
Ray Sefo @SugarRaySefo
You fought 2 months ago, we paid you more than your contract says. U were never promised a fight before the end of year.
Hopefully the misunderstanding gets sorted out shortly, and that Bollinger can get even more time in the cage this year.
