Hector Lombard’s long unbeaten streak is over. The UFC newcomer came in having not tasted defeat in his last 25 fights, but he left with the bitter taste in his mouth after his UFC 149 co-main event with Tim Boetsch.

The slow-paced fight saw little in the way of significant strikes, but Boetsch seemed to at least control the pace, and two of the judges felt he did enough to earn the decision. They scored it 29-28 for Boetsch while the third scored it for Lombard 29-28, giving Boetsch the upset win.
