Black breaks down Nate Diaz AND Conor McGregor
DOUBLE BREAKDOWN of Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor

Saturday will see the biggest rematch in UFC history, as UFC featherweight Conor McGregor seeks to avenge his loss to lightweight Nate Diaz, at welterweight. The UFC 202 main event on August 20, 2016 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada will either see McGregor continue his march towards being the most famous athlete in all of combat sports, or it will see Nate Diaz finally getting the wide recognition that the hardcore fanbase has understood for so long.
And both fighters are making millions.
The fight is so killer that Robin Black has done a breakdown from the point of view of each fighter. And Black broke out a notably natty suit for the occasion.
First up, the fight from Nate’s perspective. Nate needs to employ a three-pronged strategy that Black calls:
•Roll: Shoulder roll with the punches, and
•Rough: The Stockton Interruption, tax him for slipping punches, and
•Rumble: Pressure till he do dirty …
Black also breaks down the fight from the point of view of McGregor’s camp, who are looking to come back from the Irishman’s only loss in the UFC.
“Failure is not the opposite of success,” explains Black. “Sometimes it a nourishing stop on the winding path to growth.”
McGregor needs to employ a three-pronged strategy that Black calls:
•Push: Balabce the lightning Celtic Cross with Thunder
•Pull: Draw Nate forward, Deliver the goods
•Float: McGregor has proven himself to be in a category of one when it comes to spacial manipulation, in a sui generis shell game of violence (the FlimFlam).
Watch below for details.
Then watch the fight on Saturday night.
