Robin Black is back to break down the main event at UFC 208, the inaugural women’s featherweight title fight between Holly Holm and Germaine de Randamie.

Macromanagement: Winning the large battles
•The specialist Muay Thai fighter de Randamie vs. potential generalist Holly Holm.
•Expect GDR to initiate, and perhaps Draw and Intercept.

Micromanagement: Winning the small battles
•GDR’s clinch is among the best.
•Holm, in turn, will need a bodylock or at the least, inside control sufficient to block the hips, and then Exit and Strike.
•Black considers too the Southpaw and counter Southpaw foot positioning that the pair will attempt.

Who will win? Nobody knows for certain, which is why they have the fight. But after watching Black’s breakdown, your appreciation of the fight will be wider and deeper.
