“Our last event in Denver this past April was BKFC’s most successful in the company’s history with a huge-sold out crowd at the 1STBank Center and millions watching internationally,” said David Feldman, president and founder of BKFC. “We promised that night we’d come back with another sensational event and that’s what we’ve planned.”
“Lorenzo Hunt is one of the most accomplished and exciting fighters in the world of combat sports, but at BKFC 50, he will take on his toughest challenge yet when he squares off against the undefeated Chris Camozzi.”
Ranked the No. 2 pound-for-pound Fighter and also the BKFC light heavyweight champion, Hunt has compiled numerous highlight-reel moments in the squared circle. Fighting at KnuckleMania 3 on February 17, 2023, in a victory that created a massive viral moment, Hunt would rise from being knocked down in the first round to remarkably stop Mike Richman moments later.
The double champ, currently on an eight-fight winning streak, also holds outstanding, dominant victories over Quentin Henry, Joe Riggs, Hector Lombard, Josh Dyer, Robert Morrow, Davian Green, Erick Lozano and Reggie Pena.
Ranked No. 4 in the cruiserweight division, Camozzi has quickly impressed in BKFC competition with two first round knockouts, both taking place in Denver. Fighting in his debut at BKFC 31, on October 15, 2022, Camozzi stopped Bubba McDaniel in the opening stanza. Following up at BKFC-41, the former UFC star knocked out Daniel Spohn on April 29, 2023.
