PHILADELPHIA – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship makes their exciting return to South Florida with BKFC 38 on St. Patrick’s Day – Friday, March 17 – at the Delray Beach Tennis Center in Delray Beach, Florida.

BKFC 38 is headlined by a highly anticipated featherweight clash between former BKFC bantamweight world champion Dat “Be Dat” Nguyen and two-time Bellator featherweight world champion Daniel Straus.

Tickets for BKFC 38, starting at $50 are now on sale at BKFC.com. BKFC 38 will also be broadcast internationally as part of the BKFC+ subscription for $7.99 per month on the new BKFC app, “The Best Value in Combat Sports.”

BKFC 38 is sponsored by Only Fans, Crescent Tools, LIONS NOT SHEEP and Knockout Gummies.

“South Florida has long been a hotbed for some of BKFC’s most electrifying events, and our biggest crowds and St. Patrick’s Day headlined by Dat Nguyen versus Daniel Straus will absolutely meet that standard,” said David Feldman, president of BKFC. “Dat’s fights in BKFC have been among our most exciting, and he wanted to fight the best opposition in his return, and a battle against Daniel Straus is as tough a fight as we could make.

“We’re putting together a tremendous undercard, and I strongly encourage fans to purchase tickets in advance, as our South Florida events sell very quickly.”

A longtime resident of Vero Beach, Florida, the fan-favorite Vietnamese-born Nguyen (3-1) won the BKFC bantamweight world title, defeating then-champion Johnny Bedford in an outstanding fight at the first KnuckleMania event on February 5, 2021. The all-action Nguyen battled current BKFC double champ Luis Palomino at BKFC 22 on November 12, 2021, valiantly losing a hotly contested decision in a sensational two-way battle.

Nguyen also holds wins against Abdiel Velazquez and Travis Thompson under the BKFC banner.

Following an acclaimed run in Bellator, Straus made huge news in the international combat sports world by signing with BKFC last month. He compiled an overall MMA record of 26 wins and 10 losses, including victories over Patricio “Pitbull” Freire, Henry Corrales, Marlon Sandro and Pat Curran. The fight against Nguyen is his first under the BKFC banner.
