LONDON – Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship returned triumphantly to London, England with BKFC 37, an action-packed card held at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre.

In the main event of the evening “Gypsy” Jake Lindsey (4-0) of Manhattan, Kansas stopped “The Brum Town Bomber,” Connor Tierney (7-2), in the fourth round of their welterweight clash. Following an even first round filled with two-way aggressiveness as each landed multiple combinations, Lindsey dropped Tierney towards the end of round two with a battering overhand right hand. With the fast-paced action continuing in the third round, Tierney used a similar punch to drop Lindsey hard to the canvas at the end of the stanza.

Following a rapid-fire fourth round with huge right hands landed by both fighters, Lindsey would drop Tierney with a clean right hand. Although the badly hurt Tierney would beat the count, the fight was stopped by the referee at the time 1:02 of the final round with Lindsey declared the knockout winner.

Co-featured at BKFC 37, highly touted Rico “Bon Bon” Franco (7-2) knocked out Darren Godfrey in the second round competing in the light heavyweight division. Franco would drop the aggressive Godfrey twice in the opening round and again for the final time in the second round with the fight being called to a halt at the 0:49 mark.

In the feature fight of the evening, David “One More” Round (3-2) dropped Terry Brazier (0-2) twice with the second knockdown in round three stopping the fight at the time of 1:28. A massive right hand from Round would end the fight for Brazier.

In the cruiserweight division, Mason “Smiley” Shaw (6-4-1) proved too powerful and skilled for Lee Browne (1-1) winning by unanimous decision. Scores were 50-45, 49-46 and 49-46.

Also fighting in the cruiserweight division, Darren Hendry (4-1) stopped Corey Harrison (1-2), in the second round. Time of the stoppage was 0:58.

Competing in the light heavyweight division, Chaz Wasserman (1-0) won a hard-fought unanimous decision over fellow warrior Cedric Severac (0-1). Scores were 47-44 on all three judges’ scorecards.

In the heavyweight division, Robbie “TNT” Kennedy (1-0) knocked out Jack Draper (0-1) with a remarkable spinning counter right hand that stopped the fight in the second round (1:35).

Nathan Hind (1-0) won a unanimous decision over Gary Fox (0-1) in the welterweight division. Scores were 50-44, 50-44 and 48-46.

Opening the main card in the welterweight division, Ben Bonner (1-0) stopped Jamie Oldfield (0-3) in the third round (1:16).

Headlining the prelims in the lightweight division at BKFC 37, Ryan Carmichael (1-0) stopped Will Cairns (0-1) in the third round (0:35).

Fighting in the light heavyweight division Jimmy Millar (1-0) stopped Kyle Cassidy (0-1) in the second round of their all-out brawl. The ringside physician called a halt to the fight at the end of the second stanza.

Opening up BKFC 37 in the middleweight division, George Thorpe (1-0-1) stopped Jamie Hendry (0-1) in the third round. Time of the stoppage was 0:54.
