As the name might suggest, I’m involved in the medical world. As the name may also suggest…I’m brutal, oh yeaaaah!
So currently I’m a medical undergraduate in the UK and part of my course is dissection of the whole human body. This morning we were dissecting the shoulder with the primary objective being chopping away through the deltoid/teres until we got to the glenohumoral joint, or “shoulder joint” as you might call it. Eventually it gets to the point where we’re told to dislocate the arm in order to view the “fossa” it came from.
So I observe as 2 friends of mine begin yanking away at this arm, thinking it’ll pop out. About 15 minutes pass…At the time I was still working on the other arm, but decided to go over and take a look.
“Let me try something…”
I grab onto a modified kimura (more like an omoplata but with my arms, as the cadaver is facing downwards) crank it to max extension then give it a quick pull.
*pop*
Many a WTF face.
