Bitter Twitter Beefs: Khabilov vs. Green vs. Khabib

There are only so many hours in a day you can train, if you are clean, so fighters often use the down time to match make, via Twitter. One fighter calls out another and if the resulting beef generates sufficient fan excitement, sometimes the UFC makes the fight.

UFC lightweight Bobby Green recently took the process wholesale, calling out eight fighters.

Rustam Khabilov took it personally – that Green HADN’T called him out, too. And thus the latest bitter Twitter beef broke out. Then Green got his Russian confused – crossing Rustam Khabilov with Khabib Nurmagomedov.
