Bisping, Rockhold, Weidman slam Belfort for past PED use
Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold, and Chris Weidman united at the UFN 55 pre-fight press conference in doubt about Vitor Belfort and the use of PEDs.

Whether fair or not, Vitor Belfort has become the poster child for PEDs. At a press event Wednesday for UFC Fight Night 55: Rockhold vs. Bisping, the two fighters united around disdain for Belfort. UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman who fights Belfort on Feb. 28 at UFC 184, was also in attendance, and was likewise unsympathetic.
It began when Rockhold and Bisping, who each lost to Belfort last year via head kick were asked about how they fee about Belfort getting a title shot.
“That’s quite a s— stirring question,” said Bisping as transcribed by David St. Martin for MMAFighting’s Morning Report. “You’re going to open many cans of worms. But, yes, listen, Vitor was juiced to the gills for many years and now he’s not. Now, Chris is going to win that fight, first and foremost. [Weidman’s] at an advantage because [Belfort’s] no longer juiced to the gills. …
“Vitor’s physical appearance is altered, it’s quite visible. Is he going to be the same person? That’s the question everyone is asking, and only he knows. We shall see.”
Rockhold’s scathing response made Bispings appear diplomatic in comparison.
“Vitor’s a joke to me,” said Rockhold. “We’ll see what comes out. I’m very interested to see what happens in his drug test he took the other day. We’ll see if the fight even takes place.”
Weidman shared Rockhold’s skepticism that Belfort passes the comprehensive, out of competition tests that is going to be administered by the California State Athletic Commission.
“Yea, I’m worried about that,” said Weidman. “You want him to get drug tested until he actually gets drug tested.”
So what do you think UG? Is Belfort a victim of changing standards or a villain? And will be pass every pre fight test leading up to UFC 184?
