Bisping: Hendo rematch is beneath me
Michael Bisping: “I wouldn’t lower myself to a rematch with Dan Henderson because that guy is so washed up and so old and so decrepit.”

Middleweight contender Michael Bisping, 36, spoke recently with MMAHeat’s Karyn Bryant about the KO loss he suffered to Dan Henderson at UFC 100 in 2009.
“That fight was six years ago. It’s a part of MMA history, it doesn’t bother me in the slightest,” said Bisping as transcribed by Lewis Mckeever for BE. “Y’know it’s funny on Twitter, people – if I say something, y’know, they’ll post a gif of me being punched or something. Dan Henderson’s very proud of it, he likes to post it now and again. Get over it, you think that really bothers me? It really doesn’t.”
“I wouldn’t lower myself to a rematch with Dan Henderson because that guy is so washed up and so old and so decrepit – I think we’d have a hard time getting it licensed. That guy’s just so slow and I think he’s had far too many blows to the head. I would love to get my revenge on Dan Henderson, but it just wouldn’t be fair.”
Dan Henderson fights Tim Boetsch at UFC Fight Night 68 on June 6. Bisping fights C.B. Dollaway at UFC 186 card on Saturday. If both win, a rematch might be the next logical move.
