Bisping gets six stitches over eye: ‘No big deal’

In the past week BJ Penn vs. Rory MacDonald was at best delayed when the Canadian caught a spinning elbow, and received a massive cut.

Michael Bisping too was cut over the eye last week, but luckily it was not as severe – The Count needed “only” six stitches, vs. MacDonald’s 38. Michael Bisping, in training for the same UFC 152 card on September 22 that MacDonald hopes to reschedule to, shrugged off the injury.
