Recently Chris Weidman made an off-hand accusation that current middleweight champion Michael Bisping may have been cheating during his career.
First Bisping tweeted at Weidman: “@ChrisWeidmanUFC you never fail to make me smile. You’ll get yours, if and when you win a fight. Lots of injuries since usada though,Weird!??”
Bisping’s comment of course is hinting that Weidman may have had something to hide from USADA, but Weidman replied with his own underhand accusation: “@bisping hah going hard trying to throw dirt on me. Your own teammates gave u up. “People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones”.
Last night Michael Bisping appeared on UFC Tonight and responded to that conversation that and Weidman engaged in on Twitter:
“This is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard of in my life,” Bisping said. “Just because I beat somebody that Chris couldn’t beat, he accuses me of being on steroids. I am the guy that’s probably been tested more times than anybody else throughout the history of the UFC.
“I’ve been in this sport for 10 years, I’ve never tested positive. I’ve never even come close to testing positive. This is absolutely ridiculous.”
