After years of warning, it has finally happened – something on the Internet is not true. Brazil’s Combate reported that Michael Bisping vs. Vitor Belfort II was targeted for UFC Fight Night 127. The show on March 17, 2018, at The O2 Arena in London, England is believed to be Bisping’s final fight in the Octagon.
It’s not true, as The Count explained to Ariel Helwani.

Bisping’s enmity stems from Belfort’s use of the now disgraced Testosterone Replacement Therapy specifically, and to PED use in MMA generally. While Belfort became the poster child for TRT use, and was saddled with TRTitor memes, Bisping is the poster child for the cost of PED use.
A span of 22 fights, Bisping lost just six times, to Dan Henderson, Belfort, and Chael Sonnen who were on TRT, to Wanderlei Silva who was suspended for years after running from a PED test, and to Tim Kennedy and Luke Rockhold. Only the last two are clean. Although he became champion and set several records, Bisping must wonder what his career arc would look like without the drug users. And he has no interest in fighting their poster child one last time.
