Kevin Kimbo Slice Ferguson is among just a handful of figures in the past 17 years who was able to take over more than 50% of the top 100 threads in the UG. By comparison, there are seven Conor McGregor threads in the top 100 right now.

Slice, who incidentally is a complete gentleman, achieved Internet fame doing bareknuckle matches. He made his MMA debut with Cage Fury Fighting Championship, and was signed by EliteXC; he became the face of the company until losing to Seth Petruzelli in 2008.

Ferguson was signed by the UFC, but only for The Ultimate Fighter. His presence guaranteed that TUF 10 was one of the most popular seasons in series history. In baffling matchmaking, the UFC set up a fight with wrestler and BJJ black belt Roy Nelson, which Kimbo lost.

he was then signed by the UFC, going 1-1, with a win over Houston Alexander, and a loss to Matt Mitrione. Since being released by the UFC in 2010, he has gone undefeated as a professional boxer.

And now, at the age of 40, he is back in mixed martial arts. An opponent is expected to be announced shortly.

Who would a good opponent be? Kimbo vs. Tito? Kimbo vs. Manhoef? How about Kimbo vs. Cro Cop??!?

There are multiple reports that Bellator is interested in signing the Croatian heavyweight, who continues to fight regularly.
