Bellator announces Dynamite on Sept 19
Bellator 141 will include a Tito Ortiz title fight with Liam McGeary, a stacked four-man, one-nght tournament, and three GLORY kickboxing bouts.

Spike’s Friday Night Fights have showcased a variety of combat sports, with Bellator MMA, GLORY kickboxing, and Premier Boxing Champions. Now Bellator CEO Scott Coker has announced a WILD night of combat sports at Bellator 141 on Sept. 19 at SAP Center in San Jose, California.
There will be both a ring and a cage in the arena. Three GLORY kickboxing bouts will take place in the ring, but the Bellator cage is where things get wild.
Tito Ortiz will fight undefeated Bellator light heavyweight champion Liam McGeary. And there will be a one-night, three-fight, four-man tournament with:
Phil Davis
Muhammed Lawal
Emanuel Newton
Linton Vassell
The first round match ups have yet to be announced, but the winner will get a title shot. The first two fights in the tournament will be two rounds, and the finals three rounds. In the event of a draw in the first two fights, there will be a special judge to make the decision.
Ortiz has seen one of the great career turnarounds in MMA history. The People’s Champ won just one of his last nine fights in the UFC. His two wins before that were over Ken Shamrock, in 2006. Ortiz now has straight wins over fellow UFC Hall of Famer Stephan Bonnar and former Bellator middleweight champion Alexander Shlemenko. And now Tito gets a title shot.
Paul Daley and Joe Schilling are confirmed participants in the GLORY portion of the event. No opponent for either fighter has been named.
