Earlier this week Vitor Belfort was granted a conditional license by the NSAC and shortly thereafter the UFC announced he would fight Chris Weidman for the UFC middleweight title. With the bout set, it didn’t take odds makers long to set the lines, with Belfort starting as a big under dog in the fight.

BestFight odds, which keeps tracking of betting odds across multiple sportsbooks has the fight listed by both 5dimes and Sport Bet.

Vitor Belfort: +305 (5Dimes) +323 (SportBet)

Chris Weidman -425 (5Dimes) -407 (SportBet)

For those unfamiliar with sports betting on MMA, the numbers are based on betting or winning $100. Using the numbers for 5Dimes, a $100 bet on Vitor Belfort would net the bettor $305.00 where as a $425 bet on Weidman would net the bettor $100.00.
