Belfort: I never fought without approval of UFC and commission
Vitor Belfort: “I’m very thankful. I’ve always been great with the UFC, with the commission, and I never fought without approval of a commission and the UFC.”
Speaking to MMA Junkie radio, Vitor Belfort addressed a recent story of his previous TRT treatments that put it back in the spotlight:
It is what it is, Belfort told MMAjunkie. I’ve always been very open. Fourteen guys were in the treatment. Twelve of them were American. The media kind of picked me up for that, I think because of my success, devastating the new generation. But 12 of all these 14 were Americans.
I think success is something (that comes) with work ethic and pursuing to greatness, and that’s been my career. I’m very thankful. I’ve always been great with the UFC, with the commission, and I never fought without approval of a commission and the UFC.
