Belcher vs Cote slam questioned

As Patrick Cote drove in on a double leg. Alan Belcher leaned forward, secured and body lock, largely inverted Cote, and drove him into the mat. Cote appeared stunned, and shortly there after tapped out due to a rear naked choke.

Fans were divided on whether the slam violated the Unified Rules prohibition on vertical spikes.
