I’m going to be completely honest. Hector Lombard has a nice streak going and a good record, he’s the champion of another organisation that has some good fighters but they’re not the best in the world. I think the UFC are impressed by him in another sport that’s not MMA. I think it’s more of a hype type thing. I think they’re buying into the hype. Brian Stann is not the top contender; he’s not the guy that if you beat, you get a title shot.
On Michael Bisping:
He’s a very hard guy to beat, that’s why Chael had a problem. He’s good at controlling the fight and winning on points. I don’t know if that fight is more deserving than the other guys.
The reason why it seems like I talk about Bisping, is because people always ask me about that fight. What I always say is that he seems like a bit of an a-hole, but I don’t really know him. Seems like the fans would love it if I beat him. Personally I don’t really have an issue with him, but once I made some comments he came back and made some to make me not like him. Not that I dislike him, but he’s not my favourite person or anything. That would be a cool win.
