Battlegrounds MMA O.N.E. results: Roan Carneiro wins $50,000

BattleGrounds MMA: O.N.E. featured the return of the 8-Man tournament, with a $50,000 prize. It aired at 10:00 p.m. ET live on PPV, with free prelims at 9:00 p.m.

In the end old age and BJJ beat youth and skill every time, as the the finals came down to Roan Carneiro, 36, vs. Brock Larson, 37. Both fighters had been fighting for so long, they had each done an 8-man.

Carneiro lost his second fight, to Anderson Silva, in 2002. That same year Larson had his first fight. Both men hold black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. And both showed the sport once again, the meaning of toughness.
