LAS VEGAS – Tuff-N-Uff officials are proud to confirm the promotion’s return to the legendary Las Vegas Strip for “Tuff-N-Uff 132: Alcala vs. Morales” on Friday, July 14.

Just one week after The Fight Capital of the World welcomes the world’s attention to International Fight Week and “UFC 290: Volkanovski vs. Rodriguez,” the SAHARA Las Vegas plays host to MMA’s afterparty with Tuff-N-Uff 132, which streams live on UFC Fight Pass from the Sahara Theater at SAHARA Las Vegas.

In the night’s main event, former Tuff-N-Uff amateur lightweight champion Jorge “The Natural” Alcala (5-1) returns to the organization for the first time as a professional to face “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America” finalist and two-time UFC veteran Leonardo “Chimmy” Morales (12-7) in a key bantamweight clash.

Meanwhile, the Tuff-N-Uff 132 co-main event sees 2021 PFL runner-up, Invicta FC veteran and three-time Tuff-N-Uff veteran Taylor “No Mercy” Guardado (3-2) facing four-time PFL Challenger Series veteran Jackie “The Hybrid” Cataline (3-2) in an intriguing featherweight clash.

“We’re incredibly excited to return to SAHARA Las Vegas for our second straight event,” Tuff-N-Uff CEO Jeff Meyer said. “The combination of Tuff-N-Uff’s elite MMA action and the phenomenal atmosphere of the iconic Sahara Theater provided for a spectacular event in March, and we saw that night’s main event winner, Muhammad Naimov, sign a UFC deal following his spectacular victory, while Westin Wilson also received a UFC invite following a win that evening. We’re excited to see who can make that same type of statement on July 14 on UFC Fight Pass.

“Of course, we’ll continue to stay true to our roots as the world’s premier amateur MMA promotion, as well, and we’ll have a full lineup of preliminary matchups that will air live on the beIN SPORTS Network, too. This will be another incredible night of Tuff-N-Uff action in Las Vegas.”

Dave Farra and Jason Mahoney from the nationally distributed “Dave and Mahoney Morning Show” call the action at Tuff-N-Uff 132 on UFC Fight Pass.

Alcala claimed the Tuff-N-Uff lightweight title in 2018 in his final amateur outing. He would turn professional later that year, suffering a disappointing loss in his debut. However, he has since battled back with five consecutive victories. Even more impressively, the past four wins have all come in the opening round, and all via rear-naked choke.

Meanwhile, Morales was a contestant on the first season of “The Ultimate Fighter: Latin America,” scoring exhibition wins over Masio Fullen and Gabriel Benitez before suffering a decision loss in the tournament final against current UFC interim featherweight champion Yair Rodriguez. Morales makes his Tuff-N-Uff debut following a recent four-fight stint under the Combate Global banner.
