In his first fight in almost two years, Josh Barnett dominated the iron-chinned Roy Nelson over five rounds to secure an easy decision.
Nelson’s (20-12 MMA, 7-8 UFC) toughness apparently went a long way on two judges’ scorecards, which gave scores of 48-47 while one gave Barnett (34-7 MMA, 6-2 UFC) every round, 50-45.
I gave Roy everything I could and he took it and came back, Barnett said afterward.
