When the UFC finalized the terms of its Reebok deal with the athletes, it was decided that fighters would be paid based on tenure:
1-5 bouts get $2,500
6-10 bouts get $5,000
11-15 bouts get $10,000
16-20 bouts get $15,000
21 bouts + get $20,000
Title challengers get $30,000
Champions get $40,000

Here are the numbers for UFC Fight Night 92:
Yair Rodriguez: $2,500

Justin Ledet: $2,500
def. Chase Sherman: $2,500
Overall, athletes at UFC 200 received $137,500 in sponsorship revenue from Reebok for the event. Unfortunately, when a main event fighter puts on an incredible performance, for five rounds, and only gets $2,500, something is fundamentally broken, and needs to be operated on, perhaps with a machete. The UFC is an extraordinary business, that saved mixed martial arts, but like all things human, they are not flawless. The current Reebok deal is not right, and adding some colors is not a fix.
