Askren, Warren to co-host Let’s Get It On podcast
Sean Wheelock will remain on the podcast, and will now be joined by two of the most vibrant voices, literally and figuratively, in the MMA space – Ben Askren and Joe Warren.
Early last year ‘Big’ John McCarthy and Sean ‘The Big Wheel’ Wheelock founded the highly-successful Let’s Get It On podcast. Wheelock is a commissioner in his home state of Kansas and serves as a commentator in MMA, as well as other sports. McCarthy is of course the Godfather of MMA refs. Both men have vital voices in the MMA space, and produced a tremendous podcast.
However, McCarthy recently moved to Las Vegas, and took on even more responsibilities than had previously, which left him unable to serve as a regular presence on the podcast. He will however remain as executive producer.
Wheelock will remain on the podcast, and will now be joined by two of the most vibrant voices, literally and figuratively, in the MMA space – Ben Askren and Joe Warren. Both are former US Olympic wrestling team members and both are top level fighters. Askren is the current ONE Championship welterweight champion, and Warren is a former two-division champion in Bellator, at featherweight and bantamweight. Both men speak their mind like it’s their job.
Let’s Get It On had been airing twice a week, but will shift to once per week for the time being.
