Art Jimmerson wants Royce rematch, training Gi, still one glove

‘Tank Abbot’ is widely credited with being the first man to wear gloves in the Octagon. While that is technically true, the first man to wear a glove in the Octagon is prizefighter Art Jimmerson, who faced Royce Gracie at UFC 1 in 1993. Now a boxing coach at a California UFC Gym, Jimmerson has contacted Royce directly on Facebook and asked for a rematch:

Royce did not seem fully committed, replying only with a:

However, Jimmerson is training hard in the gi, and hopes for a final hurrah.
