There are a number of promotions vying for the role of chief feeder to the UFC. However, for WMMA, the role is undisputed. Invicta FC is the place to be to get in, or back in the UFC.

Angela had just one fight, a win, before entering The Ultimate Fighter 22. She lost her first fight on TUF, to eventual tournament winner Carla Esparza. She still got a fight in the Finale, and won, vs. Emily Kagan.

Then Hill lost back-to-back fights with the far more experienced Tecia Torres and Rose Namajunas, and was cut, landing in Invicta. Hill tore through her new home, winning the championship in her third fight there, and defending it successfully in her fourth.

Andrade is on a tear of her own in 2016. She dropped down to strawweight from bantamweight and TKOed Jessica Penne at UFC 199 in June, and tapped out Joanne Calderwood in Round 1 at UFC 203 in September. Andrade is now the #5 ranked UFC strawweight contender. A win for either Andrade or even Hill would potentially put them just one win away from a title shot.
