Hill (2-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC), who joined the UFC after appearing on The Ultimate Fighter 20 reality series this past year (despite just one pro fight), made the announcement on Sunday.
In a Facebook post, the 27-year-old strawweight called it bittersweet but wrote, I’ll hopefully be able to stay more active outside the octagon and gain the (experience) I need to make my way back to that belt:
