Brazilian media giant OGlobo reported yesterday that UFC Middleweight champion Anderson Silva said he had injured his knee in training, but noted that there will be sufficient time to recover before the July 7 rematch with Chael Sonnen, who has been relentelessly tormenting the Brazilian.

In characteristic fashion, the UG went off in various convoluted directions from “the sky is falling on his knee” to “the Brazilianer is already starting with the excuses already.”

Silva reiterated that the knee is going to be fine.
