12 year old João Pedro started BJJ at age five. However, for nearly a year he has been fighting a rare bone disorder called epifisiolise, which confines him to a wheelchair, and keeps him off the mats.

Pedro is a huge Anderson Silva fan. His mother contacted Anderson Silva’s dentist, who arranged a surprise visit, and recorded the moment when the by met his hero.

The video is in Portuguese, but the sentiments are universal.
