Anderson Silva: I won’t stop until I get title back
Andereon Silva: “Look, besides returning well in 2015, my project in the UFC is only one: I won’t stop (fighting) until I get my title back. I want to at least try.”
Earlier this month in an interview with Brazilian OGlobo site Fantastico, former UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva said emphatically that a title was not a goal.
“I’m over this thing of being champion, having the title” said Silva as translated by Guilherme Cruz. “The truth is, there will only be one Ayrton Senna, there will only be one Pele, and there will only be one Anderson Silva, so whoever saw me, saw me. Who haven’t seen me, won’t see it.
“In a way you’ll see me, but not for the belt, that thing of being champion again. I don’t have patience for this. I think I’m closer to retirement every day.”
In a new interview with Brazil’s Veja, Silva said emphatically that a title is in fact his goal.

Silva sometimes toys with opponents, and he sometimes toys with the media, too. Thus it is hard to know if Silva truly has had a change of heart, but it is at the very least a sign that Silva’s mental state is getting back to normal!
