Alvarez: I’m fighting Pettis this January in Boston

Today, lightweight Eddie Alvarez confirmed that he will be on UFC’s return to Boston this January and will be fighting former champion Anthony Pettis.

Yesterday the UFC revealed a return to Boston this January for a card on FOX Sports 1, with a main event of TJ Dillashaw defending his title against former champion Dominick Cruz. Today, lightweight Eddie Alvarez confirmed that he will be on the card as well fighting former champion Anthony Pettis:

Alvarez is coming off a win over Gilbert Melendez at UFC 188 and Pettis off a loss to Rafael Dos Anjos in a world title defense back at UFC 185.
