Today the Executive Director the Nevada State Athletic Commission, Keith Kizer, notified members of the media that all athletes were tested for performance enhancing drugs and drugs of abuse. All athletes were tested all tests came back clean.

UFC 162 featured a main event of Chris Weidman defeating reigning UFC middleweight champion Anderson Silva with a dramatic knockout. 

Also to note is that Dave Herman was again tested and passed, as he was required to pass a drug test prior to the event as well. Herman was previously flagged for marijuna metabolites and server a nine month suspension.
