Alistair Overeem’s issues with drug testing have been well documented leading up to his December 30th bout wit Brock Lesnar at UFC 141. Early last week, Overeem went before the Nevada State Athletic Commission to apply for his official licene. The heavyweight fighter was questioned for more than an hou about the circumstances around a drug tested requested by the NVSAC.
In the end, Overeem was granted a conditional license to compete and one of the main conditions being a new drug test within 72 hours and another drug test when he landed in the United States.
