Aldo: I’ll fight McGregor in the street
Although he is scheduled to fight Frankie Edgar at UFC 200 this July, Aldo is still focused on revenge and is happy to fight McGregor anywhere, including on the street.

Conor McGregor was the first man to ever defeat Jose Aldo in the WEC or UFC, and he did so in emphatic fashion knocking out the champion in only thirteen seconds.
Although he is scheduled to fight Frankie Edgar at UFC 200 this July, Aldo is still focused on revenge and is happy to fight McGregor anywhere, including on the street:
“I don’t think it will be like the first one,” Aldo said during a Q&A with the fans prior to the UFC 198 official weigh-ins. “He’s coming differently, but when we get into it he will go back to his game, and that’s when we’re catching him. I revised my concepts, we learn a lot with the losses, and I learned.”
If he’s victorious against Edgar at UFC 200, Aldo hopes to avenge a 13-second knockout loss to current 145-pound champion Conor McGregor next — even if it’s outside the Octagon.
“I will get there and run through (Edgar). It doesn’t matter what happens, we will win the fight,” he said. “After that, we will get (McGregor) even if it’s in the streets.”
