Aldo: I want to hurt McGregor
Jose Aldo: “You can be sure I will hurt him like I have never done to anyone before. I’m sure he will leave the fight all busted up and I will leave with another victory.”
Jose Aldo always wants to win when he steps into the Octagon, but for UFC 194 Conor McGregor has made things personal and Aldo is out to hurt him:
“My goal is to win, that’s my focus,” said Aldo (via Combate). “Nothing more than that. You can be sure I will hurt him like I have never done to anyone before. I’m sure he will leave the fight all busted up and I will leave with another victory.”
As for his opponent’s taunting ways, Aldo believes it is all a show for the cameras as he recalled his surprise appearance on the The Ultimate Fighter season 22, which is coached by McGregor and Urijah Faber.
“He likes to taunt. He sees a camera and then he puts on a little show. When I appeared by surprise in the TUF house, he reached his hand out to shake mine and I thought we were going to fight right there. He complained to Dana (White) and Lorenzo (Fertitta). He said he was set up. “
