Aldo: Come back down Conor, or give up the belt
Jose Aldo: Fight me Conor McGregor, or GIVE UP THE BELT

UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz 2 on Saturday night was the fight of the year so far, and is trending to be the biggest pay per view in league history. Beating the record set the first time they fought at UFC 196.
Diaz won the first one. McGregor won the second.
In the Octagon, McGregor called out Diaz for a third fight at 155, which Diaz accepted.
A third fight would appear to be the best course for all involved. Except that in mixed martial arts, there is always an except.
McGregor took the UFC featherweight belt from Jose Aldo in 13 seconds, and when he opted to rematch Diaz instead of rematching Jose Aldo, the Brazilian was given an interim title fight with Frankie Edgar, and won.
Now Aldo wants his rematch.

“Where you at Conor McGregor?” wrote who ever was running Aldo’s twitter. “Come back down and I’ll see you at UFC205 or drop the belt!”
At the post-fight media scrum, McGregor was asked if he would unify the featherweight belts.
“How long was I going back and forth with José?” asked McGregor, as transcribed by Milan Ordoñez for BE. “That must have been a two-year build-up. He pulled out, last-minute. I continued to fight someone else, then we rescheduled a two-year, ‘round the world deal with that boy. And then he stepped in and I beat him in 13 seconds.”
“It’s hard for me to get excited about that, especially after his last performance. It was a decision. He didn’t go out and get it like I wanted him to get it. So, I don’t know.”
Unfortunately for McGregor’s belt, UFC president Dana White says the Irishman has to know. White said McGregor has to choose between a trilogy fight and the belt.
A betting man would bet that McGregor drops the featherweight title, and focuses next on lightweight.
