Aguilar: Jedrzejczyk is ‘one-dimensional’
Jessica Aguilar is confident she can be a contender quickly and defeat the champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who she believes is a one-dimensional fighter.
Newly signed to the UFC, Jessica Aguilar could find herself into a title fight quickly if she gets past her first fight, Claudia Gadelha. As the ex-WSOF champion, Aguilar is confident she can be a contender quickly and defeat the champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, who she believes is a one-dimensional fighter:
Calling current titleholder Joanna Jedrzejczyk one-dimensional, Aguilar said she’s more well-rounded and would expose the weaker parts of the champion’s game in a potential fight.
She has great takedown defense, but we haven’t seen (her) on the ground, Aguilar said. This fight is going to go on the ground. We’re going to start standing, but you’re going to see a mix of everything.
