Invicta FC bantamweight champion Tonya Evinger has a Don’t GAF personality that shines through in all her last nine fights (she won them all), and in her media interviews. it was never on display quite like it was after she defeated Colleen Schneider Friday night, live on UFC Fight Pass.
Evinger stayed aggressive throughout the fight. When the fight was over, she puked in a bucket. And when the decision was announced, she gave Invicta ring announcer Laura Sanko a big kiss on the lips.

Tonya Evinger is not shy about her sexual orientation. She is proudly and enthusiastically a lesbian. Evinger ably serves as a role mode for proudly being who and what she is, in true rock n roll fashion.
Prior to her fight with Gina Carano, Evinger good naturedly quipped that she would rather kiss Carano than knock her out. Evinger didn’t get the KO (Carano won via rear naked choke in the first) but she did get the kiss.
I took her to a gay bar in Hawaii,” explained Evinger to Jason Kelly for CombatPress. “They had 25-cent beers, so we got in a contest like we’re going to outdrink each other and see who can drink the most. We got fucked up, I mean, real fucked up. It was bad. There were maybe five people and then all of us showed up. We were just rocking out all over dance floor. I had her up against the fucking railing. Man, we had fun.
I got so drunk I passed out — this is when we fought on Elite XC — and our hotel was a block from where we’re partying and I couldn’t walk back to the hotel, so they had to get a cab for us. She had a picture on MySpace. It’s of me in a cab and I’m sitting straight up, but my head is down and I’m just drooling all over my tits and Gina was on the other side of me smiling. I was like, man, what did I do to myself? I passed out and drooled on myself instead of trying to get into her panties. What is wrong with me?
We hung out a bunch more times, in Stockton and Vegas and stuff like that. In Vegas, I made her hold my hand the whole time we walked around. I did get a kiss out of her that night, but it was kind of tricky. I was kind of being a creep, but she liked it, so whatever.
The UFC has a great relationship with Invicta. For example, in 2013, they acquired 11 fighters from Invicta FC and launched the UFC women’s strawweight division with ‘TUF 20’. Cris ‘Cyborg’ is the Invicta featherweight champion, but is paid by the UFC, and fights at UFC 198 on May 14.
