The Ultimate Fighter 14 which will be the final season to air on Spike before the move to FX, has announced the 16 bantamweight (135-pound) and 16 featherweight (145-pound) fighters that will compete.
The fighters range in age from 21 to 31, come from five countries, and come from some of the world’s best teams, including American Top Team, Team Alpha Male, Jackson’s Mixed Martial Arts, the H.I.T. Squad, and Wolfslair Academy.
The 32 fighters will have to fight to get into the house, leaving the official cast of 16. All 16 elimination-round bouts will air (in edited form) during the two-hour season debut. The tournament format then continues with eight bantamweights and eight featherweights. The first bantamweight and featherweightchampions will be crowned during a live-finale event on Dec. 3.
TUF 14, which features Michael Bisping and Jason “Mayhem” Miller as coaches, debuts Sept. 21 on Spike TV.
