3 title fights at Ring of Combat 65 on 9/21
Four UFC vets return to the Ring of Combat cage this September in what promises to be another night of action-packed of MMA with some of the best prospects in the east coast.

It’s a September to remember as Lou Neglia and Dead Serious MMA bring the internationally recognized MMA promotion, Ring of Combat, back to the Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City, New Jersey Friday, September 21st with three title fights and two super fights.
Ring of Combat is a top regional force on the MMA scene. No other promotion can make the claim of sending more fighters to the big leagues than ROC. Since its inception in the early 2000’s, ROC has sent over 120 fighters to the UFC and that number continues to grow with each passing event. If you’re unsure about this claim, you should check out ROC 65! Lou Neglia and Dead Serious MMA have brought another star-studded fight card to the east coast fan base.
There is nothing this card doesn’t have as it promises to deliver action that Ring of Combat fans have come to expect when you go to a ROC event, said president Lou Neglia. This card has brought four UFC vets to the Tropicana Showroom and not to mention two belts on top of that. It’s going to be one crazy night.”
Leading the charge is current reigning featherweight champion, Bill Algeo (9-2) as he takes on Scott Heckman (17-6). Algeo looks to make his second defense of the title as he takes on the ROC newcomer Heckman.
Current bantamweight weight champ, Phil Caracappa (5-0-1) makes the toughest defense of his title as he takes on former ROC title holder and UFC veteran, Louis Gaudinot (8-4).
Rounding out the title fights is a bout in the welterweight division when multiple ROC belt holder and UFC veteran Sidney Outlaw (10-3) makes his defense against another ROC newcomer, Krzysztof Kulak (28-13-2). Outlaw was personally scouted by Dana White’s Looking For A Fight and was invited to compete for Dana’s Tuesday Night Fight Contender Series where he racked up another win on his already impressive record. Now he’ll put it on the line when he takes on Poland’s very experienced Kulak
In one of the super bouts, Frankie Perez (11-4) returns to action when he takes on Yosedenis Cedeno (11-6-1). Perez has long been one of the faces of Ring of Combat before he went on to the UFC. This will be his 11th time fighting under the ROC banner. His fans always come out in droves and ROC 65 will be no different when he takes on UFC vet and another ROC newcomer in Cedeno.
Jeff Lentz (11-7-1) makes his long-awaited return to ROC when he meets former ROC title challenger Tim Dooling (7-4). Another ROC staple, Lentz looks to get back to his winning ways when he takes on Dooling who himself is looking for this win to put him back in title contention.
The remainder of the card is as follows:
Christopher Daukaus (5-2) vs. Edwin Smart (2-1)
Joseph Schick (1-2) vs. Chris Disonell (1-1)
Giorgi Kudukhashvili (3-1) vs. Saidyokub Kakhramonov (5-0)
Mike Gonzalez vs. Mario Hernandez
Thomas Powell (1-2) vs. Liam Anderson (0-0)
Andy Segovia (1-0) vs. Juan Galarza (0-0)
Gabriella Gulfin (0-0) vs Whittany Pyles (0-2).
