Two-sport ONE world champion Regian Eersel is ready to extend his flawless promotional run in ONE Championship.
“The Immortal” will put his ONE lightweight muay Thai world title on the line against highly rated Russian challenger Dmitry Menshikov in the main event of ONE Fight Night 11 on June 9, which broadcasts live in U.S. primetime on Amazon Prime Video.
With the muay Thai and kickboxing straps firmly around his waist, Eersel is the undisputed king of the lightweight strikers.
But there is also a compelling case to be made for him being the best striker on the planet – and here’s why.

1. Dual world titles
Eersel made an instant impression when he joined the ONE roster in 2018.
After reeling off wins against Brad Riddell and Anthony Njokuani, the Dutch-Surinamese superstar toppled the legendary Nieky Holzken to capture the inaugural ONE lightweight kickboxing world title in May 2019.
Three successful title defenses later, Eersel added the inaugural ONE lightweight muay Thai world championship to his collection by defeating Thailand’s Sinsamut Klinmee in October 2022.
No other athlete on ONE’s roster currently holds world titles in both striking arts, leaving Eersel in rarified air.

2. A 21-fight winning streak
If Eersel’s current winning streak of 21 fights doesn’t cement him as the world’s best striker, not much else will.
His nine most recent victories have come on ONE’s global stage, and seven of those have been in world title blockbusters.
With a staggering professional record of 60-4, and at just 30 years old, Eersel is building quite the legacy for himself in the striking arts.
3. A supremely well-rounded game
It’s hard to see how Eersel’s historic run can be brought to an end.
With height and reach, strong punches and kicks, and the ability to fight at close range, the Sityodtong Amsterdam athlete has no obvious holes in his game.
And if someone does find a weakness, “The Immortal” patches it up and comes back even stronger. Just ask Sinsamut, who he knocked out in their rematch two months ago.
That awareness shows that the two-sport ONE world champion never shies away from continuing his development, meaning even when he may look down, he’s far from out.
