“ONE Fight Night 7: Lineker vs. Andrade II” is here, and the card is sure to set off fireworks.

Fans will be eagerly tuning in as former ONE bantamweight world champion John Lineker (35-9) takes on Fabricio Andrade (8-2) for the vacant crown in a highly anticipated main event rematch.

But it’s not just the fans who will be tuning in – several of ONE Championship’s biggest names will also have a close eye on the action.

Here are just three of the many fighters who have a vested interest in ONE Fight Night 7’s outcomes.

Kade Ruotolo: Tommy Langaker vs. Uali Kurzhev

The next challenger to ONE lightweight submission grappling world champion Kade Ruotolo’s throne could be decided this weekend.

Norwegian grappling sensation Tommy Langaker takes on Ruotolo’s former foe Uali Kurzhev at ONE Fight Night 7, and the American phenom is likely to be watching closely.

Long regarded as the best grappler in Europe, Langaker could very well be the 20-year-old prodigy’s biggest threat.

But the Scandinavian submission machine has a huge test ahead of him in the form of Kurzhev, a four-time sambo world champion. Should Langaker emerge victorious and get the job done, then he will likely land a blockbuster showdown with Ruotolo.

Demetrious Johnson: Eko Roni Saputra vs. Danny Kingad

Demetrious Johnson has his hands full on May 5, as the ONE flyweight world champion defends his strap against Adriano Moraes in a trilogy bout at ONE Fight Night 10.

However, “Mighty Mouse” will no doubt be watching ONE Fight Night 7 this Friday on Amazon Prime Video, as one flyweight takes a huge step forward in the chase for divisional gold.

Former world title challenger Danny Kingad (14-3) faces surging Indonesian star Eko Roni Saputra (7-1) in a fight that could re-shape the promotion’s flyweight rankings.

Kingad has already tested himself against Johnson in the ONE flyweight world grand prix championship final back in 2019, but at just 27 years old, the No. 3-ranked flyweight is now primed for another run toward the title.

The unranked Saputra is riding an incredible seven-fight winning streak – all of which ended inside the first round – and looks to be the dark horse of the weight class.

Whether Kingad halts the multiple-time Indonesian Wrestling Champion’s rise or Saputra crashes the rankings by taking out “The King,” the flyweight division – and its champion – will be on notice.

Superbon Singha Mawynn: Tawanchai PK.Saenchai vs. Jamal Yusupov

The ONE featherweight muay Thai world title will be on the line, as divisional king Tawanchai PK.Saenchai defends his strap for the first time against Turkish knockout artist Jamal Yusupov in Friday’s co-main event.

One fighter who will have a close eye on the proceedings will be former featherweight kickboxing king and No. 1-ranked featherweight muay Thai contender Superbon Singha Mawynn.

Superbon was recently dethroned by Azerbaijani superstar Chingiz Allazov, and he could very well turn his attention back to the Thai national sport.

A clash between Superbon and Tawanchai has long been spoken about in ONE circles, and the pair have respectfully expressed an interest in facing each other in future.

A showdown between the two Thai superstars would be a feast for fans of the muay Thai persuasion – if Tawanchai can get the job done, that is.

Come fight night, Superbon will surely be at Lumpinee Stadium sizing up both co-main event fighters, and fans can watch it all go down live and for free with an Amazon Prime membership.
