2018 IMMAF worlds to be held in Bahrain

Kingdom of Bahrain is set as the venue for Brave International Combat Week featuring IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA in 2018 and 2019. IMMAF President Kerrith Brown signed the contracts for the 2018 and 2019 IMMAF World Championships in the Kingdom of Bahrain during the press conference held at Rotana Hotel in Bahrain. The 2018 and 2019 World Championships of Amateur MMA will be a part of the Brave International Combat Week hosted in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

In the previous edition of Brave International Combat Week, Bahrain witnessed athletes from 51 nations taking part in the event. The current edition of the World Championships will be hosted during the 2018 Brave International Combat Week and is expected participation from over 100 nations around the world. The edition will also feature a mega fight card from Brave Combat Federation featuring top international fighters.

The event in 2018 will mark for the second time the Kingdom of Bahrain is hosting the IMMAF World Championships alongside the professional fight night of Brave Combat Federation. The Kingdom of Bahrain is the only nation apart from the United States of America to host the IMMAF World Championships of Amateur MMA.
