Paige VanZant is going through a rough patch. She started in the UFC on a three-fight win streak, but has gone 1-3 since.

PVZ was choked out in her previous division, strawweight, by Michelle Waterson in the UFC on Fox 22 headliner on December 17, 2016. Then she moved up to flyweight. On January 14 she lost a Unanimous Decision to Jessica-Rose Clark at UFC Fight Night 124. While throwing a spinning hammerfist she suffered a broken arm, but fought on. The break required surgery.

Despite the setback, PVZ, 24, remained positive.

“Surgery day take two,” she wrote on her social network. “I’m getting this arm better and I’m getting back into the Octagon!!!”

We wish her a fast and full recovery, and a slow return to training. The sport and her fans will still be here.
