Be nice to nerds because one day you might fight one.

A Muay Thai gym thought it would be funny to play a prank on their new trainers. So, they enlisted the assistance of Kuala Lumpur Women’s Muay Thai Champion Germaine Yeap to act the part of a nerd. She came into the gym dressed like one and knocked on the punching bag like it was a door. The trainers had no idea who she was. And after watching her clumsy movements, why should they?

Nerdette: Hi. I was just wondering if you could show me how to spar.
Trainer: I just don’t want to hurt you.
Nerdette: I don’t think you will hurt me. It’ll be safe… Go on… Go on.
Trainer: All right. Fine. We’ll do something like sparring.
Nerdette: Ok. Great.

When Yeap tried her best to spar with one of the trainers, he told her, It’s not salsa. It’s Muay Thai. Finally, after pretending to be knocked down, the real Yeap got up, put her 6 years of training in The Art of Eight Limbs to good use and went ballistic on every single one of those poor saps. With his ego bruised and battered, Yeap asked a down and out Mr. Salsa, Do you need a break?
