The clash between explosive British striker Paul “Semtex” Daley and the infamous Nick Diaz for the Strikeforce welterweight title was destined to be a barnburner. It more than exceeded the expectations and ended up being perhaps the most exciting one round fight ever.
With several momentum swings and multiple knock downs and damaging strikes being scored by both sides, this is truly a must watch bout.
Since the bout Nick Diaz has returned to the UFC where he has compiled a 1-2(1) record. He most recently fought to a five round decision loss against Anderson Silva that was overturned to a no contest following a failed Silva drug test. Paul Daley has been far more active since the bout going 10-3 with the majority of the ten wins coming by way of knock out.
