The Kung Fu Kid knocked Umar Nurmagomedov out cold at 1:48 of the second round in the UFC Shanghai main event, a short right uppercut timed to the exact moment the No. 3 ranked contender dropped his level for a takedown, and the fight was over before the follow-up landed. Referee Marc Goddard’s intervention was a formality. Nurmagomedov was unconscious before he reached the canvas.
