Rest in Peace to Kevin Ferguson, AKA Kimbo Slice, a Bahamian-born American MMA fighter and boxer. Kimbo became famous on the internet for his backyard brawls. Rolling Stone called him King Of the Web Brawlers. He then ventured into MMA fighting in EliteXC, the UFC, and Bellator MMA. On June 6 2016 he was admitted to a hospital near his home in Coral Springs, Florida. He died a short time later due to heart failure, after a mass was discovered on his liver. RIP Kevin Ferguson, you will be missed.

The first is against James Thompson, which aired on CBS. Kimbo avoided Thompson’s grappling as much as possible and eventually won by brutal TKO stoppage.
The second is one of his infamous internet fights. It features Kimbo in classic form, pressing forward, throwing punch after punch, and eventually beating his opponent down with blood-drawing a right hand.
The third fight is Kimbo’s Elite XC Pro MMA debut vs Bo Cantrell. In this fight Kimbo lived up to the expectation of many of his internet fans and gained widespread attention in the MMA community. He lands a hard right hook to the body and then a right elbow over the tot. Cantrell heads to the canvas and Kimbo wins in 19 seconds via KO.
The fourth fight is his notorious main event with MMA legend Ken Shamrock that set records on Spike TV. Many in the MMA community were skeptical of the fight, but nobody denies the ending – a brutal KO. Another first round win for Kimbo.
The fifth fight is actually of his son- Kevin Ferguson Junior. Kimbo credited MMA with allowing him to pay for his children’s education and upbringing. Kevin made his pro MMA debut in March knocking out Tom Brink in the first round with a devastating right hand.
